Replacement Anode Rod Recommendation for Suburban Water Heater

Question:
My hot water tank is a Suburban and the first time I used it the anode only lasted 4 months. It had 3/4inch thread size so I assume that is was made of aluminum. Would I be better off using a magnesium anode, if so, do they come with 3/4inch thread size or only 1/2?

We only have one anode rod replacement that's going to fit your Suburban water heater. For that you'd want the part # CAM11563 which is aluminum and the correct size for what you'd need. We do not have a magnesium rod that would fit your water heater.
