Question:
I would like to ask a couple of questions. Let me preface this by saying we have purchased a new 5th Wheel Toy Hauler and are going to be carrying our motorcycles. I see that the BandW Biker Bar #BMWC2301 is the part needed for the 2015 FLHTK Ultra Limited. That is great. This is my bike. My wife owns the HD Freewheeler Trike FLRT. The question is regarding the trike. 1. Considering this is a trike and I can set the brake and add a couple tie downs would I need a biker bar? 2. If I get a biker bar leaning toward this option for safety what is the model number of the biker bar I would use? Thanks

Expert Reply:
For your Harley Ultra Limited the Biker Bar part # BWMC2301 that you referenced is the correct kit but for a trike we don't have a fit mainly because you wouldn't need one. The trike will balance itself so a set of ratcheting tie downs like the set part # IMF12636 would work well. Each tie down has a 500 lb working load limit capacity.
