As stated by Derale in the instructions of the Derale Dyno-Cool Remote Cooler with Fan and AN Inlets # D12733, "The purpose of a remote mount cooler is to be able to mount the cooler away from the front of the vehicle therefore not blocking airflow to the radiator/condenser. This cooler can be mounted anywhere space permits."
If you are going to be adding a transmission cooler in front of your radiator I instead recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13503, which you can install in your 2010 Chevy Silverado with Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings for GM # D13018 if you had a 4.3L V6 Engine and 5/8" hex on trans line or Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting for GM # D13035 for a V8 engine.
