Question:

Hi, I am replacing Hullavator parts for my newer CRV than I had before. Its a 2014 CRV. Will the same Hullavator parts that I had on my 2005 CRV fit on the new 2014 ? If not, what Hullavator model do I need to purchase ? Thanks.

The Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898 will work on any vehicle roof that has at least a 130-lb weight rating, a roof rack with a bar spread of 24-inches or more and a roof rack setup that provides at least 4-inches of available bar space on the outside of the roof rack legs. These requirements are shown in the diagram I linked for you.

The Hullavator works on just about any roof rack bar shape, including square bars like the Thule as well as their AeroBlade.

If your new CR-V has no roof rack, but has flush rails that run front-to-back, then you can use the Thule WingBar Evo Podium rack made of parts # TH711420, # TH460R and # THKIT3118 to mount your Hullavator.
