Troubleshooting the Pro Series # PS63100 Lock Portion Removal

Question:
Is there any trick to getting the lock off? Ive put the key in turned it so the push button now comes out, but I still cant remove the lock from the pin. Help

I spoke with my contact at Pro Series who said that if the button isn't coming out all of the way they you should try using a lubricant spray like WD-40 or UltraLube Biobased Spray Lubricant and tap the portion where the key inserts with a rubber hammer.
If that doesn't work or if that lock portion is popping out all of the way then you unfortunately will need to cut the lock portion of the Pro Series # PS63100 off and replace the whole unit as something internally has been damaged.
