The Saris Bones Hitch 2 Bike Rack # SA882 installs directly to a trailer hitch and would not need a ball mount at all. Since there is sometimes confusion on which part is the "hitch" and which is the ball mount I attached a picture of this bike rack installed in a hitch plus a review video for you to check out.

If you need a hitch for your 2011 Mazda CX-7 you'd want the Draw Tite part # 75512 which is a confirmed fit.
