Can Non-Ducted AC Unit be Replaced with Ducted AC in RV

Updated 07/30/2018 | Published 07/28/2018

Question:

i currently have a non-ducted ceiling air conditioner. can I have this changed to a ducted system? and if so, what would it take to make this conversion? I would be interested in the heat pump feature as well. thanks

Your RV would need to have ducts installed in the roof as well as vents elsewhere. There really isn't a great way to install ducted AC unit in a trailer that does not have them. That's why they make ductless AC units like the # ACM135CH which does have a heat pump like you mentioned wanting as well.
