trying to find a plug in trailer kit for a 2017 ford transit 250

If your 2017 Ford Transit T250 came with the factory tow package then you simply need the Hopkins # HM40975 to add both a 7-Way and a 4-Way connector. This will plug into the US Car Connector at the rear of your Transit.
We also have kits that can be used if your Transit doesn't have the factory tow package. For basic trailer lighting functions use the Curt T-Connector # C56327 which plugs into connectors behind the tail lights on your Transit and are powered through the 12V lead that is routed to the battery.
If you need to upgrade that to a 7-way you can use our Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7.
If you are needing a brake controller then I highly recommend going with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller that will apply the brakes on your trailer at the same time and with the same intensity as the brakes in your vehicle. The best feature about this brake controller is the LCD screen that makes operation and diagnosing any problems much easier than an older controller that only uses codes.
Attached are some review videos and installation instructions for you to check out.
