pins broken on termination adapter. purchased a 1029, do you heat up the area to remove the old one or?

If you need to replace the Valterra RV Sewer Termination Adapter # T1029-1, or a similar connector, then you should be able to cut off your current adapter and then install a new adapter using a coupler like part # D50-2935.

Be sure to use Valterra ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303 to make the connection after cleaning the pipes really well so that you get the best connection possible.

If you are uncomfortable with this then I recommend checking in with a local trusted shop to have them do it for you.

To remove your old adapter so that you can install the Valterra # T1029-1 or # T1029-2 you simply need to cut off your current pipe directly behind the adapter. This will cause your current system to be a little shorter but that is the only way to remove the old one.
