Hi, I am interested in purchasing the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and need help figuring if it will work on my 2014 Chevy Traverse. I do not know what cross bars would work for this.

In order to use the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier part # TH898 on your 2014 Chevrolet Traverse I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System which is composed of part # RRVA150B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK297.

The Vortex Aero Crossbars will create less wind noise/drag than square bar systems. I like Rhino-Rack because they offer the same quality as other brands such as Thule and Yakima but at a much more affordable price. They also include locks whereas most other manufacturers will change extra.

I am glad you asked about a roof rack to use with the Hullavator because not any roof rack will work. The crossbars need to extend out past the mounting feet a minimum of 4" in order to clear the vehicle. The above systems that I recommended for you both meet the criteria for the Hullavator in regards to crossbar length.
