Question:
I am going to purchase a 2019 Keystone Springdale 1750. It has a gvwr of 4400# and hitch weight of 465#. Which hitch system would you recommend? Is weight distribution and/or sway control needed? My tow vehicle is a 2018 Durango with the towing package and a 6100# towing capacity. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I looked up the specs on the 2019 Springdale 1750RD and got the same 4,400 GVWR, but the hitch weight was different at 520 lbs. Normally the hitch weight when loaded is 10-15% of the total trailer weight, so I assume the weight you gave was the unloaded weight. Either way, I can help you get the best system for your trailer.
When choosing a weight distribution system, you want to go off of the loaded trailer tongue weight as well as any cargo weight behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. That combined weight you want to be in the total tongue weight range of your weight distribution system. My recommendation is to use a system rated for up to 800 lbs so that total tongue weight is right in the middle of the range for best ride.
I recommend the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control # RP66083 as the best system for your application because it will help resist sway with the dual cam and trunnion bar design. It will keep your trailer in line with your Durango better than other systems. It does require a separate hitch ball like # A-90 for a 2 inch ball or # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch ball.
If you want a more economical system, then I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-0800. This system will help control sway with the metal on metal friction and will be a cleaner look but will also be slightly louder and will only help control sway when it is already happening. It won't prevent it like the other system. It will also require a hitch ball like above but will require a thin walled socket like # ALL643216 to install.
