installing rails in 8ft bed what is the distance from back of bed to rail

When installing the Curt fifth wheel rail kit part # C16424-204 the distance from the rear truck bed edge to the rear of the fron rail is going to be 54-3/16 inches. You'll use the fifth wheel hitch to place the rear rail once you have the front rail positioned. This ensures you install the rear rail perfectly in relation to the front rail.
