Question:

I want to install a wiring harness to accommodate a slide in truck camper. I have a 2011 F-350 6 3/4 foot box. Will this work?

Unless you specifically need the 9 foot length provided by the part # 50-97-410 harness you referenced, I would recommend the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector, part # PK11893-11932.

The Pollak harness is 7-1/2 feet long, and with a short bed truck it should be more than long enough at half the price.

I have linked to a video showing a typical installation. The video shows a different vehicle, but should provide you a good idea of how to proceed with the install.
