Will The Rackem Magnum Wheel Lock # RA-25 Prevent Wheel From Turning

Question:

It looks like a well built product but since the prongs dont go thru a wheel hole, it seems like the wheel could just rotate and slide between the ends of the prongs and turn enough for the thieves to get away far enough to figure out a solution. Doe this really keep the wheel from turning? Thanks.

It would be very hard for someone to move the trailer with the Rack'em Magnum Wheel Lock, part # RA-25, attached to your wheel. When the unit is locked the prongs will not move, but the prongs are designed to go through the wheel hole. The tire would have to drive over the lock unit each time the wheel rotated for the wheel to turn.

With opportunity and time a determined thief will normally get the item they are after. Using the wheel lock will help deter theft and make your trailer harder to steal and they will usually move on.
