are 2 crossbars adequate for 84inch long basket?

I spoke to my contact at Surco and they recommend using four crossbars for the Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket 84" Long x 50" Wide part # SPS5084. If you only have two crossbars on your 1995 Land Rover Range Rover then the largest basket you would want to use is the Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket 60" Long x 50" Wide part # SPS5060.
In order to attach this basket to your roof rack then you would want to use the Mounting Adapters part # SPT400 if you have Thule square bars or the Mounting Adapters part # SPY400 if you have Yakima round bars. Unfortunately, these are the only two types of bars we have an adapter to allow for the Surco Safari Rack 5.0 to install on.
