Yakima Slimshady Awning Fit with Rhino-Rack Lower Profile Mounts

Question:

Mounting Kit for Rhino-Rack Foxwing Awnings - Square and Round Crossbars be mounted up side down, so to bring the awning lower? Also, is it compatible to mount the Yakima Slimshady Awning? I have the Slimshady mounting bracket, but it mounts the awning ontop of the bars and too high for me.

The Mounting Kit for Rhino-Rack Foxwing Awnings - Square and Round Crossbars # RR31105 is simply the square or round bar u-bolt kit. The taller portion of the mount is actually a discontinued part and does not come in this kit.

It sounds like you are looking for something like the Angled Down Mounting Brackets for Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning # RR32127 which haven't been tested with the Slimshady awning # Y36VR so I can't confirm the fit.
