The Buyers Products 5/8" Forged D-Ring # 337B40MP has a working load limit of 6,130 pounds. The break strength data was not provided. Usually the working load limit is a third of the break strength but again the exact figure is not provided.
The capacity will also depend on what you have the D-ring mounted to. So for example if mounted to a steel frame you will likely be able to reach the WLL capacity. Attached to 1/2 inch plywood, not so much.

I need to add d rings to my trailer. Going to place them on the flat surface of the trailer. Metal is 1/8 inch thick. Should I weld a sheet of metal to make the surface thicker?
