Speed Rating of Trailer Tires

Question:
Hello, I just bought a Karavan 5x8 foot utility. Tires are 4.80x12C. What is the speed rating on this trailer. Thank tou

If there is a speed rating on the tires, that will be your max speed. These are normally a letter code found on the sidewall of the tire (M - 81 mph, L - 75 mph, J - 62 mph). If there is not a speed rating on the tire sidewall, the default speed is 65 mph max.
