I have a 24 foot cargo trailer with a gvwr of 4517 will the bulldog bd500188 work for the tongue jack?

Yes, the lifting capacity of the Bulldog trailer jack part # BD500188 is 3,500 lbs which would easily be enough for the tongue weight of a 4,517 lb trailer. The tongue weight of your trailer would be around 450 lbs which would be a piece of cake for this jack.
