How is the Diode with the Yellow Connector from the Kit RM-15267 Installed on a 1997 Jeep Wrangler

Question:
puzzled by the yellow connector. Is it different that the other connectors? I am running my 4 flat cable to the driver side tail light. Am I correct that I must use the yellow connector on the input side of the diode to connect the tail light input from the vehicle wiring as well as the jumper to the right side diode?

The diode that comes with the yellow connector in the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 needs to be connected to the brown wire from the wiring harness. I have attached a photo from the directions for you to reference as well as an installation video on a 2014 Jeep Wrangler for you to check out.
