Question:
what kind of battery do i need to use with this winch should I choose to have a external battery mounted next to it? Do you sell a mounting plate that also has a battery plate/box next/behind it?

The Bulldog Winch Trailer Winch # BDW15019 requires 340 amps at max amperage pull so you'd most likely need a car battery or deep cycle battery.
