Question:

How do you install the fireplace to be flush mounted to the wall or cabinet? using hinges and the mount screws will keep it about 1 inch from the wall.

Expert Reply:

There are two different methods of installing the Greystone 32" Electric Fireplace # 324-000076. You can use the included hinges for installation but as you mentioned this is going to cause the fireplace to stick out versus having a recessed flush mount. In order to mount the fireplace flush to the wall you are going to want to make a cutout that matches the outer portion of the fireplace excluding the trim piece and then attach the screws to the inside.
