Question:

i want to mount a Rhino Elevation Platform 107 x 58 inches on my mid roof 2016 Fod Transit 250 cargo van, 148inch wheelbase. Rhino makes crossbars for the van but when you go on the fit list for the Rhino Elevation Platform, it says not compatible. Im quite confident I can make it fit with u bolts etc but do you have any thoughts on how I might do this and what you have in stock that might work? I currently have Thule bars on the van but open to the idea if it would work better of purchasing Rhino bars. Rhino does make a universal rack adapter for the Elevation Platfrom but for some reason, it is only for the smaller racks, Thx

The 107" x 58" Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack # RR85TB referenced in your question is designed to work with Rhino-Rack mounting hardware that is specific to the vehicle you are installing the rack on. This is available as part # RRPLHSPAIR-2 for the Leg Spacer Blocks and part # RRRLTPFC-4 for the Rhino-Rack RLTP Legs. You will need quantity 2 of # RRPLHSPAIR-2 for a total of 8 legs required for your 2016 Transit.

No additional accessories/hardware will be needed for installation. You will just need to remove the existing Thule bars on the Transit T250 to make room for the platform and its mounting hardware. I have attached the installation instructions that you can also take a look at.

The platform rack is not compatible with the Thule bars you have on the van's roof.
