Installation of Breakaway Switch

Question:
I have a 3802348 breakaway switch im trying to install. It has 2 wires coming out. Does it matter which wire goes to the + terminal?

To install the # 3802348 , the blue wire will connect to the blue wire that's on your battery box and the black wire will connect to the trailer brake wire from your trailer connector to the brakes.
Breakaway switches are just there to create an open circuit to prevent power going through until the pin is pulled. Once the pin is pulled the circuit is closed and therefore power is supplied to the trailer brakes causing them to engage.
