Question:
i have a FloJet 18550000A RV Macerator Waste Pump Fixed Mount that I would like to install in a 2001 Damon Intruder. I would like to use the standard sewer pipe attachment on the RV without any structural/permanent changes. I think some of the adapters like Valterra Rotating Adapter for Rigid RV Sewer Pipe - 3 inch Hub to 3 inch Bayonet - Black Plastic might be needed, but was wondering if I could get any suggestions from you. Such as, can normal flex sewer pipe go between the Valterra adapter and the pump, or is something else better? Is there a better adapter such as an L shape or a transparent adapter to see the waste is flowing as desired that would wok better given the tight spaces involved? Any suggestions appreciated.

The Valterra Rotating Adapter for Rigid RV Sewer Pipe - 3" Hub to 3" Bayonet # T1028 is designed to fit onto a 3" waste valve with the bayonet fitting and the 3" hub will slide onto the sewer pipe so you can have your sewer pipe go between this adapter and the pump.
There are other adapters, but they are all going to depend on the fittings you have. For example, the Clearview Adapter for RV Sewer Hose # T1026-1 is a clear and has a 45 degree angle, but uses 3" bayonet and lug fittings, which are different than the Valterra you referenced. If you let me know which fittings you need I will be happy to try and find you the best adapter for your situation.
