Boat Trailer Lights Sometimes Work and Sometimes Do Not When Connected to 2010 Ford F-150
Question:
I have a 2010 Ford F150. My boat trailer lights will not work sometimes one works. If I hook my boat up to another SUV the trailer lights work fine. When I test the wires all four light up the test bulb but will not engage my trailer lights. I am stumped and any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like the connector on your truck may be corroded or there is a loose connection from the vehicle side connector to the boat trailer. I would begin by checking the vehicle and trailer side connector for corrosion, if there is corrosion you will need to replace the connector.
Next, you will want to check to make sure all the lights on the trailer have a good ground to a clean metal surface. If you are using a plastic license plate holder, this make be preventing the left light from getting a good ground.
If you find that you need a new connector, you would need the Optronics Wiring, part # A20WB.
