7-Way Trailer Wiring Connector Recommendation for 1996 Chevy Suburban

Hi, I have a 1996 GMC K2500 Suburban with a factory installed trailer hitch that has never been used...a trailer connector was never installed. Is there a factory harness that I can use to install your 7 pin connector? Not really a fan of T or butt connectors. Thanks,

To install a 7-way on your 1996 GMC Suburban you'll need to first install a 4-way like part # 41125 to give you the taillight circuits. Then to convert to a 7-way all you need to do is plug this 4-way into the # 37185 and you'll have a 7-way with the taillight circuits active.
If you do have trailer brakes you would need the # ETBC7 instead of the # 37185 and a brake controller. This kit comes with everything needed to wire up the 7-way and install a brake controller.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
