If you are having a hard time keep the steering wheel centered while driving the RV then a steering stabilizer is the way to go. If the RV is getting pushed around by wind then an anti-sway bar would be the way to go. If you want the driving experience to be as rock solid as possible then a front and rear anti-sway bar and steering stabilizer is the way to go!

For the 1997 Ford F-53 chassis you can add a steering stabilizer but only if it has the V8 motor. It is # RM-RBK4-RSSA. You can also add a track bar, # RM-TRACF53, for even more stability, but again it only fits the V8 models.

There isn't a front anti-sway bar that will fit but there are rear options. You can use # RM-1139-143 for coaches that are less than 34 feet long or # 1139-144 for coaches 34 feet long or longer. For either of these bars check to ensure there is enough factory u-bolt available to accommodate the factory nut, washer and 1/2" plate. If the u-bolts are not long enough, the # RM-590050-00 u-bolt replacement kit is needed; sold separately.
