Question:
I have a 502 big block engine in a 1974 corvette and was looking at one of the dual fan systems with at least 4000 cfm or greater and I have a march pulley system very little room in front was wondering which fan system you’d recommend I have a pusher fan now but doesn’t seem to have enough cooling power thx

The shallowest fan setup we have that can move 4,000 CFM of air would be the Derale High Output Fan and Shroud part # D16928 as it measures only 3-1/4 inches deep. Height and width though are 28-5/8 inchs and 13-7/8 inches.
If you need a smaller height and width but can get by with a slightly deeper setup we have the Derale part # D16826 as well.
This measures 25-5/8 inche wide x 17-1/8 inches tall x 4 inches deep.
Having either fan setup as a puller instead of a pusher will get you the best cooling capacity. Running distilled water in the cooling system during the summer months can help quite a bit too.
