Tips for Installing Dutton-Lainson Electrical Quick Connect # DL24086
Published 05/18/2018 >
Question:
FYI, I bought a pair of 8 Guage copper wire Jumper cables, cut the clamp ends off and then connected them to these pieces. Theres one side of the silver wire connector that has a sharp step and the other side is more smooth. The sharp step needs to face the metal spring clip in the red connector. This was a bit of a hangup figuring these things out since there are no instructions. This info may be useful to others. Thanks

The install of the terminals into the housing of the Dutton-Lainson Electrical Quick Connect # DL24086 can be a bit more difficult than you'd think so I am glad you were able to figure it out! I've had to install similar connectors to this for an electric forklift so I know what you mean. I am glad you got it figured out and I am posting this so it hopefully will help future customers!
