The NOCO Genius On-Board Battery Charger # 329-GEN4 does not have the extensions like the NOCO Accessories X-Connect Extension Cable - 10' Long # 329-GC004. If you were to extend the wires from the manufacturer, you would need to so without altering the ring terminals or you would void the manufacturer warranty. The NOCO DC leads can be extended up to 10 additional feet after the inline fuse but not before it. NOCO does not recommend any modifications between the inline fuse and the charger itself.

Hi I have a 2amp Noco battery maintainer. Can I cut the red and black wires to extend them to length I need?

@Chris While you technically could it's not recommended. Increasing the length of the wire without increasing the gauge can lead to voltage drop, meaning that the charger is going to be less effective at charging the battery. You'd also be voiding your warranty with NOCO so I'd avoid cutting and splicing. Which specific model NOCO charger do you have? There might be an extension that you can use safely use.

I have batteries at the bow and at the stern. I wish to place the charger at the stern, how can I lengthen wire to the bow to charge the bow batteries? approx. 25 feet when routed and placed. Thank you, Rusty Z,

@RustyZ are the batteries all tied together or separate? If they're connected then run the charger to the stern batteries and it will all charge as a single battery bank. Otherwise NOCO doesn't recommend running it that far, and they really don't recommend altering the wiring, so I would find a place to mount the charger closer to the batteries at the bow.
