Best Electric A-Frame Trailer Jack for a 2018 R-Pod 180 Travel Trailer

Question:

Please tell me the best electric hitch jack for my R-Pod 180 2018 model that has a e2 weight distribution system 92-00-0600. I currently have the original crank-style jack. Any installation and power hookup tips would be appreciated, too.

The best electric a-frame trailer jack we have for your 2018 R-Pod 180 travel trailer is the Stromberg Carlson Electric A-Frame Tongue Jack part # JET-2500. This jack offers up to 18" of lift and has a 2,500 lb capacity. The 2,500 lb capacity will be more than enough for your trailer. The jack comes with a manual crank handle in the event of power loss and it has built-in LED's for use at night.

The a-frame coupler on your trailer now should have a 2-1/4" jack hole opening along with three bolt holes to secure the jack. If this is the case then they will more than likely line-up with this jack as the pilot and bolt holes are an industry standard. The power wire will then need to be ran to either a 12 volt battery on the trailer or vehicle. The jack then grounds though the mounting hardware so no other connections will be needed.
