Question:
I have a 2012 Toyota Prius C . Was wondering what is the difference between 24889 and 24971 draw tite receivers. I know #24971 replaces 24889 . What is the reason.

Expert Reply:
Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24971 is a slightly modified version of 24889. It was changed slightly to accommodate additional vehicles beyond what the original 24889 hitch was able to fit. That is the only difference.
