Question:
Would the lg2 landing gear be support enough weight for a 2200lb pin weight? What is the distance from the top of the leg jack to the bottom of the top mounting tab?

Expert Reply:
The Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set # LG-2 has a 5500-lb lift capacity so it will be fine for use on a trailer with 2200-lbs of actual pin weight.
To confirm a fit verify that on your existing landing gear the distance between the mounting brackets (from the underside of top bracket to topside of the lower bracket) is 22-1/2 inches. If this is the case, the landing gear should fit just fine.
