Installed Height Dimension for Draw-Tite Hitch 76182

Question:

Im looking at hitches for my 2018 Subaru Forester. Con you tell me the height of the Draw-Tite 76182? Heights are shown in the videos for several of the others. Thanks.

For the Draw-Tite hitch # 76182 we have not yet had a local customer bring in their 2018 Forester for an install so in order to give you the installed height dimension I went to our warehouse and took a measurement of this hitch.

The hitch bolts to the bottom of the car's frame so I took a measurement from the top of the hitch mounting brackets down to the bottom of the 2-inch receiver tube. This dimension lets you see where the bottom-most part of the hitch will be, relative to the Forester's frame, after it is bolted on to the car. The dimension is 8-inches. Please refer to the linked photo.

Using this dimension you can estimate the actual ground clearance for the hitch receiver tube.
