Question:

Thanks for responding. That strap winch won’t work. It needs a steel cable winch because it runs through 2 pulleys at the top of a 3 leg pipe tripod. The specs on that winch says don’t use steel cable. Do you have another model that 2 way ratchets that will handle steel cable?

For a new game feeder winch I recommend the Fulton Single Speed Trailer Winch # F142201 along with Hand Winch Strap # DL24242. The Fulton winch has a 1,500 lb capacity, 4.1:1 gear ratio and 2-way ratchet system. I've added a link to a video review of the winch for you to take a look at as well.

For a winch that will work with wire rope, has 2-way ratchet system and 1,100 lb capacity you can use the Fulton Single Speed Trailer Winch # F142102. This winch comes with a strap but also works with 5/16" wire rope that is a maximum of 30'. I've added a link to a video review of this winch for you to check out as well.
