Is Relay Needed to Install Brake Controller in 2013 Volkswagen Touareg

Question:
I have a 2013 VW Touareg and need a brake controller. I watched the video of the install on a 2016 Touareg which was great. I believe I can do this myself. It was using the prodigy p2. My question is on the tech comment mentioned. It says a relay may need to be installed when installing a prodigy or p3. Does this include the p2? If so, I’m not sure how to do this. If so is there another simular controller you recommend that installs like the p2 in the video so that I can do this myself? Thanks much

The Volkswagen Touaregs all require the use of the relay you mentioned regardless of the controller used. The install video you mentioned is attached below and it shows the same process needed for your 2013 model if you use the P2 part # 90885 or the P3 part # 90195.
