Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon with the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Rack

Hi, We are looking to buy a bike rack and like the Kuat Sherpa rack. We have yet to put a trailer hitch on our 2016 Outback wagon. Do you have any recommendation for the type of hitch we should buy that would accommodate the Sherpa rack? We want to make sure the hitch would work with this rack. THANK YOU!

In order to use the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack part # SH22G for gray, part # SH22B for black, or part # SH22P for pearl on the back of your 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon, I recommend install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75673 which is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver tube opening. This hitch installs perfectly on your Outback Wagon and will allow you to use the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack. The only other item I recommend is a hitch cover like part # 63080 which will protect the inside of the hitch from rusting while the bike rack is not in use.
