Question:

I need 50 inch safety cables of the quality and with the clevis hook style evident in DL24005. Where can I get them? I am willing to order online, having failed to locate an in-store possibilities here in Phoenix AZ.

To get the cables long enough, you will need to go up a size larger than 50 inches, since a 50 inch version is not available. The next closest size would be 64 inches. I recommend the Roadmaster Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables, # RM-645.

These cables have vinyl-coated steel construction and have the hook you are looking for at the end. The capacity for these cables is 10,000 pounds.

Another option would be to use the Dutton-Lainson cables, # DL20119, and a 10 inch extension, # RM-650648-10, on for each cable, and a couple of connectors, # RM-910022.
