Best Way To Haul 4 Kayaks with a Lexus RX 350
Updated 04/04/2018 | Published 04/03/2018 >
Question:
Could I carry 4 kayaks on top of my Lexus SUV with J type roof carriers? or, should I give in and buy a trailer? or, is there another type roof carrier that would work. We have beginner type flat water kayaks, about 11 foot long and 40 pound range.

In order to haul 4 kayaks with your Lexus RX 350 you would need to use a trailer as the amount of space and capacity of the roof on your vehicle is simply not great enough to haul 4 kayaks no matter the type of carrier that is used. Instead, I recommend using the Malone EcoLight Trailer part # MAL63FR.
This trailer is specifically designed to haul up to 4 kayaks and would be perfect for you. It has foam blocks to protect the kayaks, lights for safety, and everything else needed to hit the road assuming the vehicle has a trailer hitch, wiring harness, and hitch ball/ball mount. If you do not have these items then please let me know the year of your Lexus RX 350 and I would be happy to provide them for you.
