Question:
Hi, I have seen pictures of a trailer coupler lock by Atwood that has a much shorter shackle than the 2 1/4. I have a utility trailer and it would need maybe 3/4inch length. I am concerned about the exposed shackle shaft when it is locked. I am thinking that the least amount of exposure the better, for theft purposes. Do you also carry this shorter shaft lock? Thanks.

We have the MasterLock Trigger Style Coupler Lock part # 605DAT which has a span of 3/4 inches like you said you need that would work well.
You are correct and the tighter the latch opening is to the trigger latch of the coupler the harder it would be for a thief to get in there and cut the shackle.
