Availability of Mounting Kit for Volvo Brand Cargo Box to Fit Factory Bars on Dodge Grand Caravan

Question:

I have an old Volvo brand cargo box with the Quick Grip securing mounts. The cross bars on our Dodge Grand Caravan are too thin to secure the box with the Thule grips. Is there a retro-fit that will clamp securely on the Dodge cross bars ? Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Thule regarding your Volvo brand cargo box. She stated that all current mounting hardware from Thule has been confirmed to fit the factory bars on the Dodge Grand Caravan, but unfortunately there is not a kit that will work to retro-fit your older box with new/current hardware.

Your best option at this time might simply be to upgrade to a new cargo box like the excellent Thule Pulse # TH615. This aerodynamic cargo box features 16 cubic feet of space and a durable ABS plastic construction that will resist impacts, weather, and harsh UV rays.
