Question:

I have an old Sears SV-20 cargo box. The handle for the key is broken. The key still works, but you need a pair of pliers to hold the part where the plastic handle of it was. It also has a quick release kit that is missing a few bolts. I am not a fan of it and would rather use the original U-bolts but they are nowhere to be found. I read online these boxes were made by Thule. Would I be able to purchase a replacement key and U-bolts for this carrier from you? I have included a picture of the model label from the carrier along with a picture of the lock cylinder. Thanks

Your photos did not come through, however, I believe I have the solution you are seeking. You can replace the lock cylinder and key by using the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450200. If you can't remove the broken key then you will need to drill it out. If you have the really old style lock, then you will want # SR03807.

For your mounting u-bolts, you will want the Replacement Hardware Kit for Searsbox Cargo Box # TH05603.
