The choice of power steering cooler for your 2006 Chevy Impala will depend on the amount of room you will have to mount the heat exchanger on your vehicle. The power steering cooler will be installed inline with the power steering pump and the heat exchanger will need to be located in a position where it can get airflow to help cool the fluid.
For your vehicle, I would recommend either the Derale 2-Pass Power Steering Cooler, # D13200, that you referenced which allows the fluid to pass through the heat exchanger two times to cool down the fluid. The heat exchanger has a dimension of 12-5/8 inches wide x 2-1/2 inches tall x 3/4 inch deep.
Also, the Derale 4-Pass Power Steering Cooler, # D13212, is a good choice if you have the room for the taller heat exchanger. It lets the fluid flow through the heat exchanger four times, which cools down the fluid even better than the 2-Pass cooler, but the heat exchanger is larger. It measures 8-1/8 inches x 5 inches tall x 3/4 inch deep.
