Troubleshooting Trailer Interior Lights that Arent Powering On

Question:

I have a sundowner horse trailer connected to a 2015 F350 via 7 pin connector. Can’t get the interior lights to work. What’s wrong?

Verify that the 1:00 pin of your 7-way with a circuit tester # PTW2993 has voltage first as that's the circuit that would power the interior lights of a trailer. If not then most likely you have a blown fuse under the hood of your truck for this circuit.

It's also possible that you have corrosion on the pins of your 7-way which is preventing the circuit from being completed. If it's not that it's a short or ground issue on the trailer.
