Question:
Hello! My trailer has a tongue weight of over 400lbs, 460lbs with tanks, spare, propane, and everything loaded. The max tongue weight of the BMW X3 is 350lbs. Do you have a recommendation for what kind of hitch I can use? Thank you!

We don't have a way to safely recommend you exceed the tongue weight capacity of a vehicle. I wish there was a way, but if you have a hitch like the Curt Class III # C13316 that has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity and your trailer has more tongue weight than that then there's nothing we can do.
The Draw Tite hitch for your vehicle part # 76226 has a higher tongue weight rating at 750 lbs.
