Question:

trailer 4 wire yconnector to 2006 honda odyssey. Do i need the converter or just a connector?

The converter or (Powered ModuLite) reduces strain on the wiring system. It is a recommended feature to make sure your product stays working for an extended period of time. A powered converter is required to protect the vehicle's sensitive electronics on models not equipped with a tow package. It is recommend that you have a converter so it will keep the integrity of or product intact for an extended period of time.
