Question:

I bought the curt c31006 I have a 120 lb 19.5 tire mounted to it .. This slides into the D210. The tire has to come off every time I hook my master tow dolly up due to the latch . How can I work myself around this situation without taking the tire off .. Also is thus tire safe on this mount?

The capacity of the # D210 total is 750 pounds. The capacity of the receiver alone is more than enough to support the spare tire you have on it. Provided that the combined weight of the spare, its carrier, and the tongue weight of the dolly does not exceed 750 pounds you will be fine.

There isn't a whole lot that you can do short of replacing the spare tire carrier and the D210 with a different carrier, # RM-195225. But with it the tongue weight capacity is 400 pounds and it is a fairly expensive item. I have linked a video of it for you.

Is it possible to put the spare tire and mount into the receiver part of D210 from the back? Is there space between the back of the vehicle and the receiver to do so? That is one possible option.

Also, depending on the tow vehicle there may be a front hitch that fits it and you could then carry the spare at the front of the tow vehicle.
