Question:
I have a 2003 Ford F150 Heritage model with a 6 1/2 ft. bed. It has a truxport tonneau cover that got damaged by wind getting under it and tearing the latch rail from the fabric. Does the replacement cover come with the bar and latches attached to the soft fabric. If not how is this transferred to the new cover?

Expert Reply:
There are a pair of TruXedo TruXport tonneau covers that fit a 2003 Ford F-150 with a 6-1/2 foot bed and they will have different replacement cover. The # TX258101 is for non-stepside models and uses replacement tarp # TX2486-CVR while # TX248601 is for stepside models of the F-150 and uses replacement tarp # TX258101-CVR.
These tarps do not include the bar and latches and are designed to be used with the existing hardware on your TruXport. There are replacement latches available, but only if your TruXport was manufactured after April 2011, the Replacement Dual Latch Kit for TruXedo TruXport- Post April 2011 # TX1117755.
