How to Pick Out Sidewinder Pin Box for Older Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

How do I find the right Reese Revolution king pin for my trailer. I recently purchased a 2014 2500 ram out doors man, with the ram box bed. I Also purchased my first 5th wheel a 1998 kit patio hauler. I then found out that you cant pull a 5th wheel with the ram boxes unless you have on of these king pins. Do they make them for that old of a trailer? And if so how do I find out which one I need?

Sidewinders/Reese Revolutions are pin box specific so you will first need to know what pin box you have know in order to pick out the correct one.

There should be a sticker or a stamping on the OEM pin box of the trailer that will list the pin box number that is on the trailer. Common Lippert pin boxes are 1621, 1621HD, and 1716.

Once you figure out which pin box you have you can check the FAQ I attached that has a chart that shows the correct Sidewinder to get based on which pin box you have.
